Product Information

Contrary to popular belief – scrunchies are perfectly safe for your hair and help protect it (opposed to regular hair elastics).

We have done our best to ensure that we have a scrunchie for everyone. Please check out our size guide to find the perfect scrunchie for you!

While most of the material we use is safe to be cleaned in a washing machine we recommend hand washing your scrunchie and letting it air dry on a flat surface. For product specific instructions, please review our care information.

We do our best to ensure the colour and prints of our scrunchies show correctly online. However, please keep in mind that screen resolution differs from one device to another. 

Please also note that our custom collections (with patterned fabrics) may differ ever so slightly from the pictures shown online. This is because not every cut of patterned fabric will be the exact same.

Orders

We do our very best to ship orders within 1-3 business days of purchasing your products. During peak order times like holidays and new product launches, please allow for a little extra processing time. An email will be sent to you once your order has been processed. The estimated shipping times will begin once your order has been processed and is released from our facility. 

Depending on where you live, we estimate the following delivery times:

Canada: 2-5 business days
USA: 4-10 business days
International: 7-21 business days

Please note these delivery times are estimates for regular mail. More information can be found on our shipping page.

Yes! If you would like to order more than 10 of one style/colour of scrunchie, we recommend reaching out to us at hello@flirtypineapple.com!

We start processing your order as quickly as possible to ensure it arrives to you in a timely manner. Because of this, we may be unable to make changes or cancel your order once it is placed. In the event a cancellation or change request is necessary, please contact us by email immediately at hello@flirtypineapple.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request!

Shipping

We do our very best to ship orders within 1-3 business days of purchasing your products. During peak order times like holidays and new product launches, please allow for a little extra processing time. An email will be sent to you once your order has been processed.

Yes, we offer international shipping for all products except our subscription boxes! At this time, we are only able to ship subscription boxes within Canada and the US.

All shipping rates are calculated at check out. Please note that International Parcel and Small Packet shipping options do not include tracking.

We use Canada Post, USPS, FedEx + UPS.

The estimated shipping times will begin once your order has been processed and is released from our facility. 

Delivery times provided are estimations only and are not guaranteed. They will always be estimated in business days (which does not include weekends/holidays). Once your package is in the hands of our shipping provider, arrival times are out of our control. However, we find that most people in Canada + the U.S. receive their order within 5-10 business days. International orders typically take anywhere from 10-30 business days.

Shipping and handling fees cover packaging, fulfilment, and postage.

Unfortunately, we no longer offer local pick up within the GTA. If you are looking to pick up your order, please email us at hello@flirtypineapple.com before making your purchase.

Prices displayed on our website do not include taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax and shipping charges (where applicable) will be calculated on the total value and will be displayed on the Order Summary page. 

International packages shipping to locations outside of Canada may be subject to customs, duties and taxes which are determined by the destination country, the shipment value and the contents of the package. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping costs and therefore are the responsibility of the customer. 

Please note that you may be required to pay applicable customs, duties and taxes before or upon delivery of your package.

Returns

We are sure you'll love your Flirty Pineapple products; however, we know that life isn't always perfect! We have a 14-day return policy on non-sale items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return/exchange for an in-store credit. 

To be eligible for the in-store credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@flirtypineapple.com. Please include your order #, item(s) you're requesting to return and the reason(s) for requesting a return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note: items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

While our products are carefully inspected prior to shipping, we understand that things happen. Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. However, please note that we are not responsible for damages resulting from shipping, washing, wearing or misuse. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards, sale or discounted items at this time.

Subscription Boxes

Our subscription boxes are sent seasonally! Your first box will be shipped in early November, and subsequent boxes will be shipped every three months following (Spring - February 2024, Summer - May 2024, Fall - August 2024...)!

There are specific subscription windows when you can purchase a subscription. These windows are typically 8-12 weeks prior to the box shipping!

Annual subscriptions receive an additional discount and priority shipping. The price of the annual subscription includes four seasonal boxes and will be charged at one time each year. The seasonal subscription box will also automatically renew; however, you will be charged every three months for your box at the full price.

All boxes will include three scrunchies and one hair clip. The Extra XL box will include an additional seasonal gift! Examples
of the gift include but are not limited to: unreleased hair accessories, gifts from other small businesses or FP merch!

All scrunchies will only be available in the subscription box. Hair clips featured in the box may eventually go on sale, but the subscription box will ensure early access.

All items are carefully curated based on the season (colours + textures). While these boxes are curated based on the season,
they won't be specific to any holidays or events (ie. the winter box won't have Santa scrunchies, the fall box won't have pumpkin scrunchies, etc.)

Yes! You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time in the customer portal. Subscriptions must be paused or cancelled prior to your billing date. You will always be billed on the same day as your first purchase (ie. if you are on a seasonal plan and your first purchase was on September 4, your next payment will be December 4; annual plans will be processed on the same date each year).

Yes! Subscription boxes are a great gift idea. When purchasing your subscription box, please ensure that the shipping information is inputted for the person who should receive the box. Please remember that the subscription will automatically renew, so if you want to cancel it, you must do so prior to the next billing. Billing is always the same date as your original purchase (ie. if you are on a seasonal plan and your first purchase was on September 4, your next payment will be December 4; annual plans will be processed on the same date each year).
