Caring for Your Hair Accessories
We hope you love your hair accessories as much as we do! Since most of our products are handmade, they should be handled with care.

General Scrunchie Care Instructions
To keep your scrunchie in pristine condition, we recommend the following:
- Before and after each use, stretch the elastic to prevent folding.
- Use extra care when putting the scrunchie in your hair and taking it out. This will also protect your precious locks!
- Be careful when wearing the scrunchie on your wrist - you don't want your jewellery to pull on the fabric. If you notice a thread, you can simply trim it.
- While most of the material we use is safe to be cleaned in a washing machine, we recommend washing your scrunchies by hand and letting them air dry.
Keep reading for specific scrunchies:
Athletic Scrunchies
We recommend hand washing athletic scrunchies. If you'd like to machine wash them, please ensure that they are washed with like colours. Athletic scrunchies can be tumble dried on low.
Satin Scrunchies
Satin scrunchies shouldn't be washed in the washing machine. If you notice a spot, please treat that spot only. And if necessary, wash the scrunchie by hand.
To floof your satin scrunchies, place them in a delicates bag and dry them on low heat with another small damp item (microfibre cloth, ideally not cotton) for 5-10 minutes. If the scrunchie is still wrinkled, you can continue for another 5 minutes.
Towel Scrunchies
Towel scrunchies can be machine washed and tumble dried on low.
Velvet Scrunchies
Velvet scrunchies shouldn't be washed in the washing machine. If you notice a spot, please treat that spot only.
Claw Clips
While our claw clips are extremely durable, they should still be treated with care! Do not wear or leave clips in extreme heat (ie. sauna, hot car, etc.).
Hair Scarves
Our hair scarves are made from satin which shouldn't be washed in the washing machine. If you notice a spot, please treat that spot only. And if necessary, wash the scarf by hand.
Knit Headbands
To maintain the longevity of our handmade knit headbands, we recommend hand washing only, and laying flat to dry. Rinse well but do not rub. Be careful not to stretch the headband when wet as it will stretch the headband.
These headbands are made to fit tight (to keep your ears toasty warm) and will stretch slightly over time.
